Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition

Just back from the Model Engineering Show in the Midlands with Bongo and books.
I have just returned from spending 5 glorious days at the Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition. The models on show are truly wonderful to look at.
It was incredibly hard work, but a lot of fun at the same time. I took my locomotive, Bongo, down with me and had her in steam for the whole of the show.
The wheels are jacked up a millimeter above the track so the wheels can rotate slowly. If the crowds have gone away, a few good blasts on the steam whistle soon gets them back!
At the same time as keeping the engine going - a full time job in itself- I was also signing Peter's Railway books and telling people about them if they were new to them.
I will try to put a photograph or two here when I have learnt how.....
